Dennis, I would look at a hydraulic roller cam no more than 550 lift.
Or call bullit cams. I'd also put a 2200 rpm stall converter or one that matches your cam. A low rpm cam will be an absolute waste as in a truck with gears the engine never has to lug at a low rpm.
I put a low rpm cam in a engine 1 time. Was pissed off entirely afterwards. Engine made peak power at 45 mph. Wich I never drove at that speed. And if I was pulling a trailer at that speed I dropped a gear to keep the engine at optimum power Wich was 2200 and up

Low end torque I'd guess is your end game. Anyone know what cam profile the 413 Dodge trucks and motorhomes
used? The Dodge C-800, C-900, CT-900v413, C-1000, CT-1000, IH 477 IH 534 in various years 1961 to 1971 used a
413.
