Re: Air Conditioning for 62 Dodge Phoenix

Several people here on this 62-65 mail list have done this AC conversion. If they see this email, hopefully they will chime
in.

I don't think any of the main aftermarket AC conversion companies offer a "kit" for any 1962 to 1965 Mopars. But here is
a link to a "how to" add AC on a 1966 Dodge Charger, a near-year  B-body relative. It gives you the idea.

And here is an old (2007) article that was in Mopar Muscle Magazine. (RIP)

Vintage Air has a "build your own" page:

If you do the conversion, consider taking some pictures along the way and I can post them along with any words you
want to add. :)

Thanks,
Gary H.

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
