I run both my cars with manual fan switches. Also, I am not a big fan of “kits.” In my experience they tend to contain suboptimal components, particularly in the area of connectors. Consider using the diagram from the kit and purchasing your own parts. Chances are good in the end it will cost the same and with better components. I'm seriously thinking about getting an aluminum radiator and electric fan combination (never used one before). So far I'm leaning towards Champion radiators (lifetime warranty), three core set up, and a 16 in single Spal puller fan, and harness w/controller. The above package is $500 shipped. But I'm a little concerned about their harness and as it seems to have some light wiring gauges. Not sure whether I should maybe use a "Spal" harness and controller like this... The other issue is that the above controllers have a set temperature (185 on I believe). Should i use a programmable setup like this instead if i want to tweak the temp?
