as steve mentioned in his 'mopars in the park' post, i had a bad day at the track last august. i still have not performed RCA to determine what happened as i just moved the car from the trailer to my shop. it seems something went wrong with the transmission (or transmission fittings) as there was transmission fluid on the track following the car.
my advice to anyone racing: don't skimp on safety gear. the good thing is that I walked away with only my pride (and wallet) hurt. glad that I had on-track insurance.
doug j witnessed the crash so he can elaborate from the spectator perspective.
i will report on what I find once RCA is complete.
