had good luck with my little snap on slide hammer i use to pull trans pumps with the little screw attachment with it sort like a lag screw , and when reinstalling one i had a pair of long nose vise grips i put near the base of the tube and tap on to install it , seemed to work for me hope you get it out
If we are talking 318 Poly yet to find a decent after-market replacement. Maybe Mopar performance or straight from a dealership? Tried this Milodon and it was a non-starter, left feedback as such. Problem is tube is tapered where it fits in the block – needs to be tapered and correct size/tolerance..........

Subject: Re: broken dipstick tube
I had a disaster with mine and it broke off flush with the block. It was apart and on an engine stand but it was still tough. I couldn't get it out from the bottom and there just isn't much room from the top to get in a drill. I think I tried an easy out? I think mostly I just gouged from the top and worked to get it to collapse on itself so I could pry it out. I had to fight to get a new one back in and actually ruined my first attempt. The second one felt like I had possibly fractured it right at the block so I JB welded it into the block and it's still there today. It better not break or I'm really up a creek.
