My orange box allowed LeRoar to reach 7500rpm's although "they" say it won't turn over 6K with an orange box. It is easy enough to test run the new box you have just for the heck of it.  I've been known to swap things regularly :-)  Just don't burn your bridges.

Hi All

Have heard rumblings about the "orange box" from other Mopar folks.  Most say to use the "Chrome box" instead. 
I have the orange box on my '63 now.  Rummaging through my stash I found a generic replacement for "high temp" applications, and what I assume is a Chrome box. 
Since I trust the common sense from this group, what are your opinions ?
383 auto, mild cam, four bbl and dual exhaust.
Here is the chrome box I found.
