Re: TTI header question

Eric is a good man at Muscle Motors and I considered it, but to me it is a trade-off.  If I buy a cheapie set of headers and dial the engine in myself it is actually less $ in the long run then loading up a motor, hauling it to Lansing, and paying someone to dyno it.  That and I guess I am stubborn and lean toward the built not bought side of things whenever I can.

jim,

you may want to consider renting dyno time to break your engine in.  the dyno shop that i use is ~$300 for four hours (this is an engine dyno not a chassis dyno and use their headers as they will be drilled for the sensors).  then you not only break your engine in but walk away with it tuned ready to drop into your car.

I know it sounds crazy but I've been saving up my piggy bank for a set of ceramic TTIs forever and I would hate to nuke 'em during break-in.  My last two start-ups definitely heated up the headers while I sorted out burps.  I'm just sayin' the Headman elites in my truck have a lovely purple hue now as a result of the knucklehead that wired the fan backwards.  uhhhhh me
