was Restoration - Mopar shops is now engine swaps



On the subject... I went to Good Guys this last weekend and even the 350's are being replaced with LS 1-7's. I was truly shocked at how many swaps there were in every make and model, but mostly Fire Chickens and Camer...I can't say it.

At the Mopar Only car show I was in earlier this month there was an absolutely gorgeous 37 Plymouth coupe 2 dr. with suicide doors. Loved this car,until I saw what was under the hood. I wanted to scream,have him disqualified,something. All chromed SB chevy. I shake the hands of any guy with an older car that keeps the manufacturers engine in his car. Only redemming thing is he didn't win anything.

Don't discount a Gen III swap.  Lots of them around in pick-up's and its almost a bolt in.

area code of Bradenton, Port Charlotte...?
 
I have a friend needing to buy a good Poly engine to Hot-Rod in his 29
Roadster.  His core engine needs boring and everything which will be over
his budget and his friends are trying to talk him into an "inexpensive" 350
unmentionable engine!
 
I am hoping we can save him from going to the dark side - he really wants to
build his Poly and is holding firm - for now.
