Bought a new Centerforce clutch set. Took my two 4 speeds to a friend for inspection. Both were very good. I ordred gaskets and seals from Brewers. Just today I got a call that the tranny will be ready by the weekend. I am now waiting for another friend to come set the bellhouse run-out with the adjustable dowels. Hopefully the engine and tranny install will be soon. I pre fit everything and have all the correct clutch linkage and clutch fork. This past weekend I overhauled the steering colume and today installed it and installed the dash guage assembly. .I have been waiting for a list member to contact me about a voltage limiter that he was looking for , but I gave up on him. Saturday I took it to a local RadioShack store had the mechanical guts taken out of it and a resister instaled to cut the voltage to the guages. I had called Joe Suchy, but at this time he did not have any. . I ordered some other parts from him , and I say he is a top notch person to deal with. Non- better. It sure takes a lot longer to put a car together than to take it apart. . Like a Rolls Royce-- each part finised and installed by hand , one part at a time! My goal is to have it moving under it's own power before the first snow-- and it is below freezing at night here!....................MO On Oct 9, 12:41 am, MO <mic...@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Part 1 I don't know where I was on the project last time I updated. Last Spring I got the body all straightened, primed and the hood, door openings, and trunk lid painted on the inside and edged. The two doors will be done later. Frame connectors welded in. Dual Master cylinder installed. Dash painted white on the underside to make it easier to see the wireing. Dash installed. Clutch and brake pedal assembly painted and installed. Front windshield installed temporarily - new one and gasket later. ..............MO
