Unless they have changed product over the last few years the foam you get from legendary actually fits 64s if I remember right. That's what they sent me because it is the thickest of the four years. So, your going to have to cut your new foam to fit your covers if you have 62, 63 or 65. Find an electric carving knife to trim your foam to the contour of the old foam that came out. When you take the old seats apart you will see what I am talking about unless they have the correct stuff for your 63. When I did mine I used plastic garbage bags to install the foam into the new covers sprayed with silicone spray. The bag covered foam slides in fairly easily as opposed to fighting them in. And yes a set of hog ring pliers make life a lot easier. I found a steamer for removing wallpaper worked well stretching the covers over the foam and getting rid of wrinkles in addition to a heat gun. The sun works well also for finishing them up. $375.00 altho a little high, is really not that bad if you need to do a lot of trimming, and its cheaper if you accidently make a wrong cut. A friend told me aboutanother seat cover business North of us where he had a new factorymaterial seat cover made and installed for his Chevy pickup for $250.He said the guy did quality work. I have new Legendary seat coversfront and back, so I called the guy and he wanted $375 to replace thecovers with my seat covers and foam from Legendary. It this a fairprice in most places ? I've thought about replacing them myself anddidn't know if anyone else has done this ? Tough job or fairly easy? I suppose you would need some hog ring pliers and maybe a heat gunor warm the covers in the sun before installation.Gary F.------Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
