It's just the standard Mopar Electronic Ignition Conversion.
 
Good point. Had a friend with a low 9 second RR that ran into that problem with a MSD.  Drove him crazy trying to figure out the problem until he discovered the 14 volt requirement. Think it was a weak battery that couldn't hold enough charge.

What type of ignition box? MSD...crane...etc needs 14 + volts.

The acelerator pumps do their jobs everywhere else. It seems to be load related
(intense accelration) and when I was able to increase the RPM about the 3000
level, I was slowly (feathering?) increasing the throttle to get it to go
faster. That's not something where a shot of fuel is necessary to overcome the
sudden lowering of the vacuum.

I'm going for the coil, watching the fuel pressure and bringing a spare ECU.
