Yes, it was a good workout ! I didn't take it out on the road yet,
since it's been a few years for the car to hit the highway, but I did
drive it around the acreage. The poly ran well. Love the park lever
on these cars. It's been a while, since I've used one. Just need to
check everything out . The clock even works. I've got a new set of HD
A body springs at the house. I'll check the dimensions. I haven't ever
used coil over shocks, so don't have any experience with those. I
think my old 64 Fury had air shocks, but don't want to really use
those. Everybody used air shocks in the 70's though !

I talked to my friend who had the 63 Sport Fury previously. He said he
was going to sell his 65 Satellite project car and 65 Belvedere 4
door. Both were 426 wedge cars, yep the 4 door too. The Satellite body
is solid except for some roof damage on the passenger quarter. I
believe the Satellite 426 was damaged and he rebuilt the 426 from the
4 door. The complete drivetrain for the Satellite is rebuilt including
the 426, four speed, and rear axle. If anyone is interested, I'll give
you his cellphone and you can talk with him. Just passing on the info.

Good workout Gary!

Yes "ESPO Springs and Things" is good. (Link is on the 62-65 Vendor's Page). They let you specify +1" or +2" heights also.

I remember that Mopar Action magazine did a 1962 Plymouth upgrade and used what they called "Mopar Performance 'Duster 340' A-body heavy duty leaf springs." These apparently bolt right in on 1962 and 1963 B-body Mopars.

I'm assuming in current Mopar PN terms that the Mopar Action article meant the XHD springs shown here:

Does that sound correct?

Thanks,

From: "Gary Futrell" .. I don't like the way it sets down in the back with
the original springs. I had some heavy duty springs I bought for a
later B body but I think I'll go ahead with correct length springs,
instead of moving the spring brackets. Don't remember the sources for
springs, but I was thinking Eszo ? ...
