My Newport sat inside the muffler shop since March. He finally installed the dual exhaust today. I had to ditch the headers and go with 2 center dumps and Manaflow mufflers. It sounds pretty good, slighty loud when you get on it but on the highway you can't hear them at all. So, I took my first real drive tonight and actually got used to the old style steering. After a while, I could keep it in a straight line. It does shift into 2nd and 3rd too early. I looked in the service manual but wasn't sure if that means it needs more pressure or less adjusted from the throttle linkage. I want it to shift into 2nd later. -- -- Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
