I would like to start this new topic. You don’t need timing
lights.
I have learned from an expert, Rich Kinsley, how to adjust
your timing. Timing lights....throw them away! To many other factors to deal
with i.e. worn parts, cams, changes along the way, etc.
Adjust timing with your vacuum gauge. Got my LA318 running
right. Oh course a bit of Mississippi Redneck Expertise did not hurt
either.
