The best answer is simple; "DON'T POST ATTACHMENTS".  If you want to
share a picture, share it as a link.  Use picasaweb or any of the
other 100 sites that are free for posting pictures.  Then post a link.
 Either learn to do that or don't share pictures as attachments.  As
cameras get better, the resolution of the pictures gets higher and the
bandwidth problems get worse for those who don't have it.
