On some other Mopar lists I am a member on, they block all picture
attachments. Members that want to send pictures just post a link in their
message and everyone is able to open the picture(s) if they so desire, by
loading the link. It does not download without a positive action by the
recipient.
Don't know if we can do that here, either by electronic site restrictions,
or by member agreement. Works well, and everyone who joins is told that
they cannot send picture attachments. Seems like a good, simple,
adult solution.

With all
the east Texas tact that I can muster up, I'm appealing to the group to please
refrain from sending non 62 to 65 subject matter, and photos to the
group. I'm on dial up and it takes me almost forever to load all of this
non topic messages to my mailbox. And then when a member replies to the
post "is that salmon pink Herb/" and does not erase the photos
from their reply, it takes twice as long to open my mail because it
is"double-sent".. And then I get a reply " Desert Rose " along with
the same unwanted photos. I'm not sure why they refuse to email Herb directly,
instead of involving everyone on the list with what looks to be another
personal message.. Then again another personal reply "I know some
companies used that color.Just wasn't sure." The wild ones were the tri
colored cars!"
I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings, and i
don't want to be accused of taking a "hard line" again against anyone,
because I'm not doing either. But as many times as I've asked, it seems
there is always someone that continues to ignore my pleas. I guess I'm
going to have to eventually unsubscribe from the group, as it is just taking
too long to access any of my mail. So far it has taken me 58 minutes to access
my mail. Not just my 62 to 65 mail, but all of my mail . Please guys, I
don't want to leave, but it looks like that is the only thing I haven't
tried.
