Nah. I give you a whole lot of credit for the persistence to keep plugging away! 

There should be enough help in the experience of members of this group's to help you figure out what is happening. We can put a man on the moon but can't get a "go fast" Poly 318 running? No way!  :)

Besides, you have enough quick-change motor experience now to have a towards-stock Poly 318 version as well as the hi-po Poly 318 version. Pop in the street motor and cruise. When racing season comes R&R the street version and drop in the hi-po version.  LOL
