When I open my drivers door it blows the fuse for the dome light/brake light. I pulled the dome light bulb out thinking that would stop the circuit, but when I open the door it still blew the fuse. So, I clipped the wire to the door jamb switch and now I can open the door and not worry about blowing the dome light/brake light fuse (they are on the same fuse). But, how does the door jamb switch short out? I figured it was just completing a ground as it only has one wire. There's no way to complete a circuit as if it was a + going to and coming from the switch. -- -- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
