According to my sources the original 7.00 x 14 tires would have been 26.22" 
+/- .24". So roughly 26" to 26 1/2".

I want to put 15" tires on my wife's 64 Polara 500 ragtop and want to
know what the original tire diameter is for the 14" tires that would
have come with it.

That way, I do not have to change speedo pinion gears.

I seem to remember the 14" tires were something like 26" tall but
maybe 27".

Anyone know for sure?
