Subject: '64 Dodge 361/383 exhaust manifold question

The 361 engine that I bought to replace the long ago discarded 383 in my '64 Polara was pulled from a '64 Chrysler Newport complete with everything attached. I thought was a good thing because it would replace many small missing parts. But I quickly learned there are differences. The motor mounts were completely different and I had to buy a set of new retro mounts (more than I paid for the engine). The throttle and trans kick down levers are also completely different, but I did not need those. Which leads to the question of the l/h exhaust manifold. The last time I saw the one removed from '64 Polara was 25 years ago, so I don't remember much about it, I was not paying attention. The 318 poly engine in my parts car has the exhaust exiting out of the rear of the l/h manifold. The 383 engine we installed in my son's '64 wagon uses '66 manifolds and the exhaust exits out of the rear of the manifold. However, the Chrysler 361 l/h manifold the exhaust exits between the last two cylinders. Is this different from "B" body manifolds? I have not been able to find a '64 383 example. Or does it matter if exhaust system is made for it? I do want the car to appear original.
