Sun Visor 1965 Coronet

Gang,

I am back again.

After I got the Steering Wheel off I unscrewed the Visors roof and  
guess what? The do not just slide off the end of the rod.  In fact the  
fiber board bends pretty easy. I took the two chrome clamps off each  
end of the visor and they still will not slide off the shaft. I would  
like to send the metal shafts out for chroming.

Any easy or hard answers would be appreciated.

Also, does any one know who recovers sun visors?

Never a dull day in the garage.

Next I noticed the Turn Signal Lever needs to be re-chromed. Guess  
what! It does not unscrew. Well back to the newly decorated cave.
