Re: Pertronix Equivalent

I have used Pertronix units (Chinese Junk) in all my cars, and a couple are over ten years old with flawless operation.  I do my own maintenance and have never been left on the side of the road by anyone of my cars for that matter!  I know no less that twenty five or thirty others in the area with the same positive experience using Pertronix setups.  Actually I know more people that have had problems with the MoPar setup that the Pertronix.  Sounds to me like it's an installer problem not a Pertronix problem, especially if you or no one in your area can fix a 727 leak.........Sad Sad Real Sad!!

They should call those pertronix systems "Chinese Junk" because that's what they are.  Anyone running one might need a tow truck ride home.

On the other hand, I've had to have my car towed a few times because no one seems to know how to fix a leaking 727 trans anymore...even a guy who owns a big Mopar race shop.
