Only thing is...i have almost no tools now, someone stole everything when I went on vaca at my last house...so I'm buying as I need now

also you don't necessarily have to lower the crank.  With the right tools you can slide the old one out the the new one in by turning the crank and pulling with the Chinese wire pulling tool.
