Actually, water vapor is a product of combustion. Sure there is some
condensation as well, but combustion of any hydrocarbon will result in
the production of water, and thats what is filling the inside of
mufflers. Since gasoline is a complex hydrocarbon, you also get CO,
CO2, and NOX in there for good measure.
