Doggonit I have used a formula to calculate redline that Don D had given
us. Of course I can't find it right now. My redline calculates at about
5300rpm's. BUT of course I run it up to 6K regularly and it turns better
times that way. However, the formula shows the redline for hydraulics as
higher than for solids. Gary P will know this formula I'm sure. I think
it had something to do with the cushioning effect of the hyd's ?? Maybe
that formula is in the 'Old Reliable book'?

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
