One thing I would be concerned with--mixing used lifters with a different used camshaft they break-in wear to each other and to mis match them may cause premature wear. And that is why you keep the lifters in order with the lobe they were on. I have no experience with it, but thats what the big boys tell me..................................MO

You can run solids on a hyd. cam. Just set the lash as a solid. No lifter pump up and more RPM. Run good pushrods, espically the exhaust, no flex or harmonics.

Here's my dumb question of the week.
Can you change hydraulic lifters out and install solid
lifters?
I just bought a nice used set of roller rockers along with
an almost new set of solid lifters and like the cam that is
in my car right now but it is hydraulic.
Any help appreciated.
