valve springs

Tech question--On a chebrolay you can change valve springs without removing 
the heads by using a simple tool. and air pressure in the cylinder to keep 
the valves closed. ---Is there a way to change valve springs without 
removing the heads in a Mopar 440 engine?  Thanks for any
