My alum rad has the trans cooler but I don't use it in order to help keep the rad cooler. I have a big B&M unit right behind the grill and on the driver side. I used flex lines to attach mine too. I know you have an issue with where to put the cooler due to the fan set-up. It oughta work. My rad is ample as it is almost too cold when driving. BUT I have an airflow problem without a shroud and/or bigger fan. If I can build a shroud I will. Otherwise i may search for an electric fan combo that will replace my flex-fan and encapsulate the radiator for better airflow exchange.
