RE: B body disc brakes

The disc brake conversion was the first thing I did to my car when I got
it. The brakes were horrible but I discovered that the suspension was
worse and the actual cause of the bad brake behavior. I wanted something
quick and easy so I got a kit. It was a good system and I am pleased
with it. It's a manual brake system and the pedal feel is hard but it
stops great! Waay better than before. I probably would doa more Mopar
conversion if I had to do it again. It's definetly cheaper and easier to
repair in the future. My kit came from Phoenix, AZ. I can use 14" wheels
with it and I do. I did the poly/graphite suspension upgrade next and
that was excellent. My suspension was flopping all over the place. It
tightened up really nice after the new bushings and torsion bars altho I
do think the big torsion bars are an overkill and a bit harsh. I'd back
off a notch in the future.

Anyway you wind up doing it I'm sure you'll like it. Enjoy.
