Re: 65 - 383 fury exhaust manifild



no loose plugs - first thing i checked -  but good idea and thank you - my problem is that i can not see where the exhaust manifold leak is exactly so it could have been that.  What I wonder is if i should stay away from the aluminum gasket and use the embossed copper since I have cast iron to cast iron?  All of you are so valuable by the way in your advice on my 65 fury.  IT is my only car and it is a beautiful day driver but it is tough keeping it up when you have no coin for a mechanic.  you guys help me get by...

check the spark plugs before you take the manifold off who know one may be loose ,,just a thought
