how long is the pin once removed? I removed mine, seemed short and
stubby? still could not get the rocker arm to budge?
so I just put it back and let it be.

Gary,
Yes, that is the pin that needs to be removed with a pair of vise-
grips or channel-locks working it with a left-right-left motion if
possible to loosen it. I have not had difficulty (yet) but I have
heard they can be stubborn (understatement). Best to work at it a
little at a time with periods of exasperation venting in between
rounds.
Let me know how it goes.

Subject: Poly pin?
Polyhead fans,
On a 318 Poly, is this the pin that needs to be pulled out to
remove the rocker assembly? See the the circled area on

pin.jpg
If so, how do I get the pin to budge?
If not, where is teh pin hiding?
Thanks,
Gary H.
