Gary,Yes, that is the pin that needs to be removed with a pair of vise-grips or channel-locks working it with a left-right-left motion if possible to loosen it. I have not had difficulty (yet) but I have heard they can be stubborn (understatement). Best to work at it a little at a time with periods of exasperation venting in between rounds.
