I had a similar problem with the set of anodized stamped aluminum 
valvecovera. I got some chrome valve cove hold downs from AutoZone  they are 
about 3 inches long and spared  clamping force  enough to stop then from 
leaking also I running a set of rubber gaskets  good luck
