I have an extra drive shaft I got from a 64 Plymouth, it maesures 47" the one in my 62 Dodge wagon measures 46 1/2"both cars are Poly motors TF 727 combo. matter of fact the engine and trans from the 64 Plymouth are in my Dodge, so I thought the drive shaft would feel
right at home. (o: I'm measuring just the tube part from the base of the flange.with all the end play the ball n' trunion slip joint has will this 1/2" be a big deal?
am I measuring this correctly? or can I just swap the trunion joint if the one in my wagon is shot?it's been with out a boot for quite some time and makes a knocking or rattling noise
when I have a full load.was hoping this other drive shaft would be a bolt in, but the 1/2" bothers me?
any thoughts on this.. as always, thanks for any help. Schuyler Schuyler 62 Dodge Dart 440 wagon w/ Poly 318 <http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.org/ml-wrobel62.html>FYI - I Do the Decal designs for the Poly head 318 and more! email me with your needs -
