RE: Went to the shop and measured my pulley. 6 1/4 inch





I got curious and measured my '64 Dodge's (a car that never runs above 1/3 of the way up the temp gauge even idling with the original factory A/C on in 95 degree New Mexico heat) 383 pulley and it is 5 1/2 inches.  I think this is the original stock pulley for this factory A/C 383 2 bbl.  This probably helps keep it cool too, I always thought it was the 16 fins per inch, factory A/C, larger HD radiator.
