Breaking loose Ball Joints

Anyone have any little tricks for getting ball joint shafts to pop out
of the spindle or lower control arm? I was working until midnight last
night to no avail. I soaked the hell out of them, used pickle forks,
beat on the control arm and spindle to jar it loose, and beat on the
ball joint stud w/ a brass drift...nothing! Is there some sort of a
puller I could buy because nothing is budging right now!!
