Ok I know this is a well worn subject but I want to be sure. I am 
changing from the Rotella 20-50 to Valvoline VR-1 straight 30wt. Unless 
I am mislead I recall that Don D and others prefer the straight weights 
and so have I. The VR-1 does have the Zddp in extra quantities per the 
label and literature. I think the 30wt will do a better job also. The 
price is a bit more but still very doable at $4.96qt at NAPA. This car 
does not see cold weather, no heater, so the oil is not too thick. 

I hope this doesn't cause a riot :-) I'm just trying to be sure.
