They were part of the CAP package and i spent many hours repairing them in Road Runner 383s. Given the choice i would have an AFB anyday. Set them and drive them for 20 or 30 years untouched. Avs dont seem to me anyway to have good throttle respnse. Some guys like them . I guess i just dont. Could be just me . i am no big fan of Thermoquads either even though I made thousands $ overhaulling them and trouble shooting. Even had a guy drive here from Floirda to get one fixed because he couldnt seem to get it done there. Still even though I understood them and could fix them they were to me an overcomopicated collection of 131 parts doing the same job 30 parts could do perfectly well.
