hi all
im redoing my 63 dodge polara 500 h.t.
had a 383 in it now has a 440 bored .030 with max wedge top end.
i have electronic ignition.
what alt. would be best 60 or 90amp..if i wanted to go with a one wire set up what would i have to do differnt to get that to work and is there really any advantage with the one wire set up.

Use a condenser from an old window AC unit for a tranny
cooler.  They are
all around if you look, and work great.  The price is
certainty right.  Don
t go to big on your alternator, remember the wiring in your 64
is built for
35 amp 60 amp would be the limit I would push it.  Supt to you!

About the radiator/trans, I take it you installed an aluminum radiator

without a trans cooler hook-up? Dodger did this too. That's what

those radiators readily available for about $165 new. Whereas

Cool is about $900. I already have a Flow Kool pump but maybe I
need to

drill the relief holes too in the stat.



Alternator wise I am going your route but I'm planning to switch
from my

stock 35 amp to about a 60amp. They are easy to find for about
$55-$75.

I don't mind going to a 100amp but so far I haven't seen any
listed that

I thought would fit. Anybody know what year and make 100amp that would

bolt up to my poly?
