Nice post. I'm old enough, 65, to enjoy the "ramblings". 

About the radiator/trans, I take it you installed an aluminum radiator 
without a trans cooler hook-up? Dodger did this too. That's what I am 
contemplating. We are both wondering how well it will work. There are 
those radiators readily available for about $165 new. Whereas the Be 
Cool is about $900. I already have a Flow Kool pump but maybe I need to 
drill the relief holes too in the stat.

Alternator wise I am going your route but I'm planning to switch from my 
stock 35 amp to about a 60amp. They are easy to find for about $55-$75. 
I don't mind going to a 100amp but so far I haven't seen any listed that 
I thought would fit. Anybody know what year and make 100amp that would 
bolt up to my poly?
