I don't think there would be any problem with interior leakage unless around 
the trim strip where edge of vinyl meets rear quarter panes( holes for 
clips.)  These tops were glued on to a painted top. In many years of outdoor 
rain exposeure, I have seen many form rust under the vinyl. I don't think 
that would happen on a daily garaged car......................MO......sw
