RE: Rear-end gear ratios





Sorry, no disrespect intended.  My Dodge is the lowest HP car I have, and it doesn't seem very peppy compared to the others, but I like it as a cruiser and it holds very special memories.  When I had my '64 Dodge Polara 500 with the 383 2 bbl. in high school, yes, it seemed pretty fast.   I even got a speeding ticket for 130 mph!  Just seems most everybody has max wedges or hemis in their Dodges these days.
