RE: Rear-end gear ratios





By using the tire/driveshaft rotation method it appears to be a 3:23.  But it is not a suregrip, it is open (or the posi-unit is broken!).  There are no tags or gear ratio stamps on the unit.  Just a 7 digit casting number and below that line is a O with a square around it, a knob, then a 10, then a knob then an 8.  These markings are on the driver side part of the shaft case before the pumpkin.
