Okay, now I'm getting confused. I was looking at this "voltage limiter" on Ebay. Item number: 400026033106. Do our cars have both a voltage regulator AND a voltage limiter? Do I need both? If I have one or the other or both, will my ammeter still work as intended by the factory? Thanks in advance for any clarification you all can offer. /Butch/ Ferndale, WA ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan McCormack" <mcwheels@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, February 19, 2009 7:42:57 AM GMT -08:00 US/Canada Pacific Subject: Re: AutoZone's voltage regulator #VR706 Yes I've been using the same regulators for years on my Mopars. I used to get them from JC Whitney but they no longer carry them. They were originally developed for marine use.
