Re: Mopar 15"ers?

The early (late 40's - mid 50's) "smooth" convex 15" wheels do have the same 
center stamping diameter as the late-50s / early 60"s wheels (larger OD, I 
want to say 12 9/16"), using the same rim-shells should you wish to widen. 
I have done it many times and they definitely look cool...  but they do not 
fit any dog-dish caps.  These wheels are very common in yards around here.

'66 and later 15" wheels fit later, smaller diameter dog-dish caps that are 
incorrect for our cars.  If the gentleman in England is concerned with 
correctness, these wheels should be avoided.  If not, these wheels are cheap 
and available on every streetcorner.
