I have heard that a few 8.75s snuck thru after the 73 cutoff, though i have never actually seen one, also many think that the 8.25 completely supplanted the 7.25 in 73 but they actually used the 7.25 into 1976 I believe on slant six cars. anybody ever seen a 9.25 rear , supposedly replaced the 8.75 in b-bodies around the same point, for example, say maybe a 75 cordoba with 400 might have got this 9.25 rear. They look super strong, but i dont know if hot parts are available for them. i have thought about grabbing them from the junkyard but would be afraid of getting stuck with a turd. neal zimmerman, eugene oregon On 8/8/08, 65 <65Val@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > I thought 8 3/4 in A-Bodies stopped in '72, and was replaced with the 8 1/4. > > Am I mistaken? > > Darwin/Victoria BC/Canada > '65 Cdn.Val.Custom 100 'vert > 225/factory A833....eternal project > '67 Dart GT 'vert... > 273/904...now with "Collector" status > http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e285/65val/ > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Herb" <zephyr9900@xxxxxxxxxxx> > To: "1962 to 1965 Mopars" <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Friday, August 08, 2008 7:42 AM > Subject: RE: green bearing questions > > > > > Earl, you are correct 73 & up A - Body's with 83/4 are 41/2 bolt pattern.
