Got no responses to this, so it must have stumped the carb guys on the list. Here is how I fixed it: I removed the carb and flipped it, then sprayed carb cleaner through the nipple. The barest trickle came out. Took out my biggest Sherlock Holmes magnifying glass. Turns out the casting was bad, and this hole wasn't drilled out. Drilled it out, works like new now.
