RE: Flaming River Steering Column

That sure is interesting, Dan. I can't remember the full conversation I
had with the Flaming River technician, but I remember four things that
were up to me: I had to find a way to bolt it to the dash, I had to
find a way to adapt it to the firewall, I had to find a way to adapt the
wiring harness, and I had to find a way to adapt the column to the
steering box. Admittedly, on the last they had a universal-like adapter
that made me nervous, as it had no provision to allow for in and out
movement of the column shaft.

Does what you are saying mean there were no such differences between the
GM tilt columns and those GM made for Mopar? I hope that's the case,
because I know where I can get one out of a Trans Am right now. The guy
owes me a favor, too.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
