The 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury 383 I owned new in that year had a dual point distributor. The one I'm restoring has a single point distributor. I was told by a local Mopar enthusiast that the single point distributor cars had a lower compression ratio from the factory than the dual point distributor cars. Is this a fact? If so, what was the difference and how did they achieve the difference? Thanks/ Butch/ Fernale, WA ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
