DO NOT READ THIS UNLESS YOU ARE BORED; Well I knew that it would happen, just did not think that it would be so subtle when it did, and by that I mean when it come to a time in a mans life when he would rather think about what has happened rather than the present or future. It all started this morning while I was having a late breakfast, while waiting for the kids to come home for xmas, I reached over for the jelly, and seen that it was to be used as a drinking glass after empty, this started the mind remembering the full sets of drinking glasses that my grandparents used daily, which started me thinking about the start of my mechanical prowlness, I remember changing engines and transmissions under the old Chinese elm behind the old farm house, used a large rope block and tackle hung in the elm, and fastened to grandpa's old john deer tractor (primitive but got the job done), and on the other side of the tree, grandpa had a dog house where his old coon hound had been tied for years, the dog had dug holes to lay in so as to keep cooler in the summer time, I found that by using two bumper jacks, set on top of cement blocks that I could get the front of a car jacked up high enough to get another cement block under the front tires (safety purposes), and if all of this was done strangely over the dog hole, that I could change a transmission, this was an awkward job, as I always had to do it by myself, I would have to drag the tranny under the car, crawl under the car, and drag the tranny up on my chest, and physically lift the old cast iron torque flites up into position, hold it there with one hand and a knee, while starting bolts and tightening them with the other. Well enough dribble for now, after reading this you will know to delete Reflections 2 where I will tell you about my performance years with the use of heater blower mtrs. well pipe, and j.c.whitneys $19.95 floor shifters dodger [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
